A couple of days at the beginning of summer in tokyo and yokohama.

gyaaaaaa!!…. It’s been a while since I shot my holga, so I decided to shoot 2 rolls of neopan 400 through it a couple of days back and I only realised after, stupidly i must have had the setting on bulb for most of the time. Nearly almost all pictures came out funkified with a non-intentional blur. But thankfully, not all were messed up by this. Here are a few which i think were ok.

Got myself a new developing tank and developed 6 rolls over the weekend, and found one of the rolls to be from early january. I think it is great to be able to see a picture instantly with a digital camera and even nicer when you can get to see colour negative film developed within an hr of dropping it off, but the I think now the most satisfying is seeing something you shot a few months back, and re-remembering that instance in time and place.

I recently broke one of my most used lens. The 20mm f1.8. I really enjoyed shooting with this lens, day and night, both digital and film. Very wide and very bright, the only downside was the size. Anyways, I headed to ginza one afternoon to check out some second hand camera stores for alternative lens. Along the way I shot a few frames on the FM2 + 28mm. neopan 400. I’ve found photographing to be good form of stress relief and clearing the mind. Didn’t end up buying anything that afternoon, and still confused to what i should get as a replacement.
