This picture doesn’t really show justice to how fast he was actually running with that huge box.

Visited this nice place tegamisha, out in the west side of town. Koga-san the bookseller kindly showed us a few 70s Camera Mainichi magazines. For some reason, the camera ads left a lasting impression.

When kids stop calling you “oniichan (older brother)” and start calling you “ojisan (uncle)” then you know you’ve come of age. A lot of happy (and frowning) faces on this Seijin shiki day. . One mixed with lots of kimonos, police with cameras and a storm trooper.

For almost all of 2009 I’ve stuck with a 28mm focal length.
My pointer to anyone is to stick to one focal length for a set period of time and you really start to see/feel/think and learn more about making pictures.
The direction in 2010? I think i’ll start trying a new focal length soon.
All this finger pointing? Not really something i go out thinking to photograph. Only that it is something that i see when I have my camera out.
Happy New Year!!!
The 2009 end of year rush in Ameyokocho. The latter half of the year in 2009 felt like it ended in a rush.
Welcoming the new year and a looking forward to all the things ahead.
