3200

Monday, June 29th, 2009

A couple from a roll of 3200 recently developed from shot during the winter. Looking at how and what i’ve been choosing to shoot recently, its nice to see something from a few months back.

Yes we candle

Saturday, June 20th, 2009

Went for a wonder in omotesando after work to see this. http://candlenight-omotesando.org/

and it was more interesting to see than I expected from my shooting perspective. Also decided to bring the dslr tonight for a “routine workout” . Whilst i dread the thought of carrying such size and weight these everyday these days, it was kinda nice though to shoot as much as i want without thinking how many rolls i need to develop after. Moreso seeing results instantly from experimenting in different light conditions and angles too is what i like about it.
About the exhibitions on display, people are just so talented when it comes to craft/design work in tokyo.

Kinda feeling like the one with the arrow through the head. Feel like i’m being pulled in all directions these days in everything… Need to try focus on one thing at a time, instead of a 1000 at once.

Going through a pile of negs and scans, you pick up things which you remember shooting, but subconciously realising how some should be displayed together. Eventually this collection will be part of a “bigger picture” of things, but for now, i’m going to post it here to show, but also for a reminder and reference to look back on.

1 year revisit

Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009

It was roughly about 1 year since I last went to this interesting place on the other side of town. Last year I was trigger happy like a machine gun with my dslr, (pics 2-4) as i’d never ever gotten so close to a ringside before. This year whilst i did shoot one roll of 36 and one roll of 120, and i was more relaxed, and prefered to see more of the fight. How photographic interests do change over time. Wonder what the next year will be like?
